01How we work

First understand, then decide the way forward.

The first appointment is with a member of the clinical team. It is a chance to understand what brings you to us, your current concerns, your relevant history and what you would like to achieve and, together, to see which way forward makes most sense.

That may be individual or family therapy, assessment, behavioural intervention, parent support or another kind of specialist support, in person or online. We talk with you about format, frequency and costs, and refer you to the most suitable clinician, who coordinates your support from then on.

03Approach

We do not apply one model to everyone.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Explores the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviour, to recognise patterns and find more effective ways of responding.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment

Builds psychological flexibility: a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions, and actions aligned with your values.

ABA

Applied Behaviour Analysis

The science of behaviour and learning: understanding why a behaviour happens and intervening based on observable outcomes.

FAP

Functional Analytic Psychotherapy

Uses the therapeutic relationship itself as a context for change: trust, emotional expression and assertiveness.

The goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to understand the person in their context and support meaningful, lasting change. Our therapeutic approach
