Communication is fundamental to development. When difficulties arise in speaking, understanding, articulating sounds, expressing ideas, or maintaining fluency, the impact is felt within the family, at school, and in the child’s well-being. It is common for parents to realize that ‘something is not keeping up with the expected pace’ and to seek specialized support.
ABA Clinic’s Speech and Language Therapy responds to these needs in a human, specialized way, fully adapted to the profile of each child or adolescent. We intervene in language, articulation, social communication, fluency, and feeding, always in coordination with the family and, when necessary, with the school.
Every child finds a safe space here to develop communication skills, and every family receives practical guidance aligned with their reality.
This service also extends to adults and seniors through collaboration with our Neuropsychology Department. We support difficulties associated with dementia, cognitive decline, stroke, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions that affect language and interaction. This integrated approach allows for a more comprehensive assessment and a therapeutic plan focused on preserving abilities, stimulating cognitive functions, improving communication, and promoting greater autonomy and quality of life.
Speech and Language Therapy is indicated for all ages and for anyone presenting difficulties in communication, language, articulation, fluency, voice, or oral-motor skills.
Each session is tailored to the child's needs, using play, movement, and the body as therapeutic mediators to develop motor, cognitive, and emotional skills.
Works on self-regulation, attention, and motor planning, fostering autonomy in daily routines and tasks, with a direct impact on functionality and well-being.
Supports and guides families, promoting the continuity of strategies at home and coordinating with other professionals or relevant contexts.
Each process begins with a detailed assessment that identifies the strengths, difficulties, and specific needs of the person. We use validated tools and clinical observation to build a clear and adjusted plan.
Sessions are guided by concrete objectives and are carried out through practical activities, specific exercises, functional training, and communication strategies adapted to each age group—from childhood to old age.
The intervention includes practical guidance for home, coordination with teachers when necessary, and support for caregivers in the case of adults and seniors. It is this consistency across contexts that ensures greater progress and quality of life.
If you feel that communication, speech, or language are hindering daily life, learning, or interaction with others, schedule an initial assessment. Our team is ready to help.
